Adele McMahon (b.1976) is a self-taught painter based on the Wirral, near Liverpool, and works as a photography lecturer at Liverpool Community College. She has exhibited in a number of group and solo shows and has works in both private and public collections.
"I became interested in the artistic possibilities of oil paint after spending a number of years working as a cinema projectionist and finding myself heavily influenced by the narrative content of the broken frames cut from the reels of film.
I now use my background in photography to help me construct my own narratives and am particularly drawn to creating paintings that leave the viewer asking questions about what has happened or is about to happen."
Glicee Limited Edition prints of her work are now available to buy.
